AUDREY VIRGINIA PROULX
B i o g r a p h y
Audrey Virginia Proulx is a pop singer/songwriter. She is currently at work on the production of her first album of original songs. She is also the lead singer of a pop band called "Audrey and the Boys."
Music is her passion. In addition to singing pop, she trains in classical voice with Janet Campbell's studio and considers her music "pop with a little Broadway and Disney influence. Her band has performed many gigs around the Stanford area. She has also enjoyed performing the National Anthem at various sporting events and placed 4th in the 2014 NATS competiton in the Musical Theatre Division.
In addition to singing her whole life, Audrey started violin at age 3, piano at age 5, viola at age 13, and is a proficient guitar player as well. She plays rhythm guitar for her band as well as her 5-string electric violin.
Last June, she graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Computer Science with a focus in graphics, where she also studied at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics and developed a passion for music production. She will be studying at the Stanford Graduate School of Business for the next 3 years, in the hopes of learning a lot about running the business of being a singer and producer. In addition to music, Audrey was a member of the Stanford Women's Varsity Golf Team and also loves photography, volleyball, filmmaking, fashion, video games, and improv.
